That’s why when a new wheel option shows up, people take note. But we don’t have a new option to talk about to today, we have nine of them in this exclusive preview. Since the J01 MINI Cooper EV was shown earlier this fall, we’ve seen hundreds of photos of what is basically the same launch specification. Unfortunately that means we haven’t officially gotten a good look at the wheel options that are coming for the J01 or the F66 – which will offer identical wheels. You read that right. Despite the radical differences beneath the skin, these two MINI Coopers will have identical wheel offerings and almost identical exterior design (look for more on the F66 soon). 18″ JCW Lap Spoke18″ JCW Lap Spoke2025 MINI Cooper Wheels First let’s look at the F66 ICE Cooper. Based on what we know we believe will be offering a subset of smaller wheels on the Cooper with at least one 18″ options. F66 ICE MINI Cooper S Wheel Options17” U-Spoke grey17” U-Spoke vibrant silver17” Parallel Spoke 2-tone18” Night Flash Spoke 2-tone18” Slide Spoke 2-toneThe F66 ICE MINI with the same 18″ JCW Lap Spoke WheelsFinally the JCW model will offer the most limited range but with a focus on 18″ wheels. From what we can tell, MINI will offer extreme sport tires on the 18″ JCW Lap Some wheels. It’s unclear if these are simply summer tires or more aggressive still. F66 ICE MINI JCW Wheel Options17” John Cooper Works Sprint Spoke black18” John Cooper Works Lap Spoke 2-tone18″ John Cooper Works Lap Spoke 2-tone with sport tiresFinally the electric J01 MINI will offer a subset of the same wheels. Our sources are unclear on how this will breakdown between the Cooper E and Cooper SE and eventual JCW versions of the J01 so there’s the full list as we know it. Then we’ll see the heavily revised F56 morph into the F66 internal combustion MINI Cooper. This will be MINI’s answer to all those who want a Cooper but aren’t ready for electric. Finally we’ll see the all electric MINI Aceman crossover which effectively takes the place of the beloved MINI Clubman. The Aceman will be a small crossover roughly the size of the original MINI Countryman and will be released late next year.
