DimON Опубликовано November 11 Жалоба Share Опубликовано November 11 The all-new MINI Family marks the most transformative shift in MINI’s history since 1959, representing the brand’s largest product overhaul ever. For the US that means 11 all-new models rolling out by the end of 2025 with a new design language, new options and plenty of new tech. Note: This article focuses on the North American MINI model lineup and, therefore, does not reference the J01 MINI Cooper EV or the J05 MINI Aceman EV, as both are unavailable due to import tariffs. While we’ve gone in-depth on these models since before they were even released, we wanted take a moment and talk about the line-up as a whole that’s sold in the North American market. It’s an ambitious overhaul that has been both been welcome and criticized by the MINI community. But let’s put that aside and look at everything the brand has accomplished. Consider this an introduction to each model. If you’re looking for reviews and the in-depth discussion of each, you’ll want to follow the links to the individual model sections and reviews below. 2025 MINI Cooper & Cooper S 2 Door The all-new MINI Cooper 2-door and Cooper S 2-door are as close to a design evolution of the original MINI as possible. The F66 is a heavily revised version of the F56 adding a tough more performance and loads more tech. These models honor the brand’s classic proportions while fully embracing an entirely new interior and exterior design language. With the venerable 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, the Cooper and S models offering 161 horsepower and 201 in the Cooper S respectively. Sadly the manual is gone, replaced with a revised 7 speed DCT. Inside, MINI has taken a leap forward in sustainability and technology, with new materials like knitted fabric across the dash and door panels and the availability of Vescin synthetic leather. The centerpiece is the 9.4-inch circular OLED screen—a first in the automotive world—that encapsulates MINI’s digital future without sacrificing its charm. For enthusiasts who value the classic MINI go-kart handling, both models deliver on that promise with aggressively-tuned suspension and damping systems that add more comfort than before but keep the sharp turn-in. Supporting this is the faster steering ratio as well For more details, read our exhaustive coverage in the F66 MINI Cooper section and the review below. The soft top retains its basic design and even the optional classic Union Jack pattern. It can still be retracted in just 18 seconds—even at speeds of up to 19 mph. Powered by the same 2.0-liter turbo engines as the 2-door models, the Cooper Convertible reaches 0-60 mph in 7.9 seconds, while the Cooper S drops that down to 6.7 seconds. Inside, MINI continues its sustainable approach with new, recyclable materials and clean surfaces. The Openometer—an interior gauge tracking how long the car has been driven top-down—adds a touch of MINI’s playful personality, encouraging owners to live the “Always Open” philosophy to its fullest. The JCW also added a revised suspension and larger brakes as we’ve seen before with the F56. The look of the JCW is focused on an aggressive aerobat, gloss trim and other elements. However somewhat controversially, almost all the look of the JCW can be had with the JCW Trim package available on all Coopers Acceleration clocks in at 5.9 seconds for the JCW 2 Door, with a top speed of 155 mph, while the Convertible tops out at 152 mph. At its core is a 2.0-liter turbo engine that delivers a robust 312 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque, down 36 lb ft due to the limitations of the new 7 speed DCT. That results in a slightly slow 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds. That said this new Countryman JCW a big improvement in many ways that matter to owners.
