MINI to Celebrate Swinging 60’s at the Goodwood Revival

MINI UK is set to mark its 65th anniversary at the Goodwood Revival 2024 with a space that nods to the swinging sixties and introduces the all-new MINI Aceman. The brand will also be well represented on the track with classic Minis of all kinds.

The fully electric MINI Aceman, positioned between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman, is brand’s first all new model in 15 years. It features a compact crossover shape on the same skateboard chassis as the new J01 MINI Cooper. With a WLTP rated range of up to 252 miles, the Aceman is expected to hit UK and European roads later this year. We should see it eventually make its way to North America after production expands in MINI’s Oxford UK plant in 2026.

Visitors to Goodwood can find the MINI Aceman at ‘Issi’s Laundrette,’ a sixties-inspired area within the Earls Court Motor Show. The space offers a chance to explore the circular OLED infotainment display, hilariously integrated into interactive washing machine windows. There’s also the ‘Bubble Shop,’ where sweets and sparkling drinks will be sold, with 50% of the proceeds going to the charity partner CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).

For those looking to take home a souvenir, the ‘Edge Press’ ironing station will provide MINI-themed iron-on transfers, and the ‘Spin and Win’ washing machines will offer a variety of MINI-themed prizes. The laundrette will also feature hanging washing made from the new knitted material replacing leather in the latest MINI models.

The 2024 Goodwood Revival runs from 6–8 September 2024.
