Sputnik's back on the road

After a very long time being tucked away in the dark corner of a garage, MiniWorld's beloved Cooper 35 LE project car Sputnik is back on the road.

Over a year ago Sputnik was taken to ML Motorsport as his gearbox was in desperate need of repair. Yet while he was there we decided to give him the full works and treat him to a gearbox and 1310cc MED engine rebuild.

Sputnik's bodywork was also in need of some TLC. ML Motorpsort replaced the A-panels and re-skinned the doors before re-spraying him in his distinctive almond green.

It's been a long time since we've had Sputnik back here at the office and we're all very keen to make up for lost time and get him out and about as much as we can. Keep your eyes peeled for him at the coming shows and in the mag!
